Butter Recipe
Breakfast Butter.
This recipe will make about 6oz of butter (1.5 sticks)
Step I
1. Add 1 pint of heavy cream in food processor (or blender).
2. Add a 1/4-1/2 tsp of salt.
3. Mix in processor for about 10 minutes.
4. Scoop the butter out in to a bowl to separate the liquid (buttermilk) for the butter.
5. Rinse butter with cold water until water runs clear.
6. Your butter is done!
Step II
1. Place butter in mixer. Use wire whip attachment.
2. Whip for about 2-3 minutes or until butter becomes fluffy.
3. For Breakfast Butter, add 1/8 tsp of vanilla, 1/4 tsp of cinnamon and a couple of good squirts of honey.
4. Continue mixing until all ingredients are well mixed and butter resembles the consistency of whipped butter.
Store in covered container in fridge. Butter should last up to 4 months.
